The Music Department welcomes quite a few skilled musicians and musical groups to Canford annually to complement the pupil-led school concert events. The musicians of Cloud4 have appeared at main music festivals in North America, Europe, and Asia, together with the Perlman Music Program, the Aspen Music Festival, the Yellow Barn Chamber Music Festival, the Mimir Chamber Music Pageant, and the Madeline Island Chamber Music Pageant.
The lyrics of their songs, especially the improvisation approach used within the Jazz which allows the singer to sing without even the tune, had been expressive of their true feelings and their social sufferings on being the remoted and neglected portion of the society.
Many personal organizations have emerged because of the new music scene in Austin, TX. The town’s famous Sixth Road is the guts of the live music scene, with greater than 50 nightclubs, restaurants, bistros and dance clubs showcasing the most recent musicians in a variety of music types.
